 (اسلام باد) سپریم کورٹ نے پی ٹی آئی کی پنجاب انتخابات ملتوی کرنے کی درخواست سماعت کے لیے منظور کر لی۔ اے آر وائی نیوز کے مطابق الیکشن کمیشن کے فیصلے پر سپریم کورٹ میں سماعت کے لیے پی ٹی آئی کی درخواست منظور کرلی گئی اور سپریم کورٹ کے رجسٹرڈ آفس نے درخواست پر کوئی اعتراض نہیں کیا۔ رجسٹرار آفس پی ٹی آئی کے درخواست فارم پر ایک نمبر لکھتا ہے۔

یاد رہے کہ تحریک انصاف الکبیر کے رہنما اسد عمر نے ٹویٹ کیا تھا کہ سپریم کورٹ نے پنجاب اسمبلی کے انتخابات ملتوی کرنے کے الیکشن کمیشن کے فیصلے کے خلاف درخواست دائر کی ہے۔

. پنجاب صوبائی اسمبلی کے سپیکر صب الدین خان اور خیبرپختونخوا صوبائی اسمبلی کے سپیکر مستغنی نے الیکشن کمیشن کے فیصلے کے خلاف مشترکہ آئینی درخواست دائر کر دی ہے۔ 

صدر مملکت ڈاکٹر عارف علوی نے اس سے قبل وزیراعظم کو خط لکھ کر الیکشن مقررہ وقت پر کرانے کا مطالبہ کیا تھا۔ وزیر اعلیٰ کو لکھے گئے خط میں سربراہ مملکت ڈاکٹر عارف علوی نے تجویز پیش کی کہ وزیر اعلیٰ وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتوں کے حکام کو ہدایت کریں کہ وہ الیکشن کمیشن کو پنجاب اور خیبر پختونخوا میں انتخابات کی حمایت کرنے کی ہدایت کریں۔ وزیراعظم توہین عدالت سمیت مزید پیچیدگیوں سے بچنے کی ہدایت کریں۔

مجاز انتظامی اداروں کو انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزی نہ کرنے کی ہدایت کریں۔

انسانی حقوق کی حالیہ خلاف ورزیوں کو اجاگر کیا گیا ہے۔ ایسے واقعات سے نمٹنے کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ وزیر اعظم کو معاملے سے آگاہ کیا جائے۔ دوسری جانب الیکشن کمیشن نے صدر جمہوریہ کو انتخابات کی منسوخی کی وجوہات سے آگاہ کردیا۔ ذرائع کے مطابق الیکشن کمیشن نے صدر جمہوریہ کو ایک خط بھیج کر الیکشن کی منسوخی کی وجوہات سے آگاہ کیا۔

ذرائع کے مطابق ملکی صدر کا اعتماد اٹھ گیا ہے۔ خط میں کہا گیا کہ الیکشن کمیشن نے سپریم کورٹ کے فیصلے کی بنیاد پر انتخابی ٹائم ٹیبل جاری کیا کیونکہ شفاف اور منصفانہ انتخابات کمیشن کی ذمہ داری ہے۔ خط میں کہا گیا کہ پنجاب میں شفاف اور منصفانہ انتخابات کے انعقاد کے ل لیے سیکیورٹی سروسز کے ساتھ ساتھ گورنر جنرل سیکریٹری اور آئی جی پولیس سے ملاقاتیں اور رابطے کیے گئے ہیں لیکن تمام اسٹیک ہولڈرز فوری انتخابات کے لیے تیار نہیں اور نہ ہی سیکیورٹی کے حوالے سے۔ عملے کو بچانے کے لیے معذرت۔

خط میں آئین کے  218 Section اور الیکشنز ایکٹ 2017 کے 18 Section 218 اور Section 8C کا بھی حوالہ دیا گیا، جس نے انتخابات کو ختم کر دیا۔ اس نے یہ بھی نشاندہی کی کہ الیکشن 30 اپریل کو نہیں ہو سکتے، اور پولنگ 8 اکتوبر کو شیڈول ہے، لیکن مخصوص وقت الگ سے مطلع کیا جائے گا۔
